Rabies groupQuebec 09/14/13 ctvnews.ca: Quebec has laid down $2 million worth of rabies vaccine bait around the province to counter the spread of raccoon rabies. The officials, who have conducted the operation for eight straight years now, dropped 400,000 baits from the air and hired professional trappers to place another 250,000 in strategically chosen areas.
